T900 Trash Compactor¶
Overview¶
The T900 Trash Compactor is an advanced waste management system for commercial aircraft, designed to optimize space and improve operational efficiency. The device is deployed on several Airbus and Boeing platforms and features a hydraulic system with a hydraulic pump for automated trash compaction. The software is certified to DAL D standards.

My Role & Contributions¶
- Sustained and maintained the project through multiple software deliveries
- Implemented new features, including a dedicated maintenance mode for cleaning and retraction
- Re-certified the software to DAL D to address field issues and ensure compliance
- Provided ongoing support for fielded units and troubleshooting
